Kool Arrow and the Gang
Perfect Pitch Online annoys ex-Faith No More bassist Bill Gould.
While a few ex-Faith No More members have spent the past few years appearing on ABC game shows, peeing on photographers and growing pumpkins, former bassist and co-founder Bill Gould hasn’t played quite as prominent of a role in the music scene as of late. Why? “I started a shitty little label,” reveals Bill, “so it’s not like I’m in the system.”

Stellastarr*
Arthur occasionally seeks out acting work; his biggest television role so far was in The Lost Battalion, an A&E original movie that starred Rick Schroeder of Silver Spoons fame. And if you think that Rick is yet another one of those stereotypically well-balanced, level-headed child stars who never throws a fit and is always in control of his emotions, then boy are you wrong. “Rick kind of got in a physical altercation with one of the cast members on the first day of production,” explains Arthur. “He and [another actor] had a different idea of how to go about a scene, and Rick tackled him pretty hard. It was kind of bizarre. But he was a nice guy. If you were to divide people by good and bad, he was good.”

The Next Incarnation of the Sideshow
Artist Jay Bailey’s sinful rattling of the overlooked underworld
Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Step right up and witness the scintillating marriage of human carnality and human condition through the art of Jay Bailey.
Unlike the stereotypical urban street hippie often witnessed in Bailey’s current home of San Francisco, he is a citizen of the world, widely traveled not only physically but mentally. The 20-something artist is almost a novelty within a novelty in San Francisco’s vanilla community – well, seemingly vanilla, at least in comparison to the 24-hour town of Reno, Nev., where he was bred and raised, and his latter adventures in Austin, Texas. Raised by parents that are teachers as well as on a vice of bad horror movies and comic books, Bailey’s perspective is from that of the dark intellectual, with a healthy peppering of sinister all over it.

Dollar Binge 666: Going For The Obvious
Saying it, not spraying it since 2003.
Far be it from this humble rag to suggest that other, more august publications are watching the every move of this modest Bay Area upstart. We’re certain that when our interview questions appear word-for-word in other media outlets, it’s just a case of great, great minds thinking alike. And while we were a little surprised – pleasantly so – to see several dollar-bin-related features in a recent issue of Alternative Press, our legal department advised us that the line between gloating and libel is a fine one. One best not walked by a company whose entire staff, freelancers and all, could fit into a kiddie pool (and do we ever!). So we’ll just graciously welcome any and all comers to the exciting world of dollar-bin reportage, and leave it to you, Gentle Reader, to decide who’s keepin’ shit real in the dizzle bizzle, fo’ rizzle.

| "And for those who like dirty laundry, Bill even offered a comment on our July interview with former Faith No More guitarist Trey Spruance. For the record, we love both Bill and Trey equally. But we also love big ladles so we can stir even bigger pots of shit."
